About Us

All of my life I’ve enjoyed all types of movement and exercise.

It started with styles of dance from Ballet, West African, Liturgical, to marathon running, and most recently Pilates. I did it all to not only keep in shape, but I truly loved to move.

In Him we live, move, and have our being…. Acts 17:28

Over the past few years, I’ve had my ups and downs around movements including gaining weight, injuries, sickness, and just not feeling motivated to move. The flame of movement that ignited my life for so long became a small flicker.

“I hit the reset button and began taking Pilates sessions, daily walks, and impromptu dance parties. I remembered the gift of movement and started to celebrate.”

During the COVID season, I’ve learned so much about myself and I realized that I was so focused on the end goal that I never took the time to celebrate the small wins. I hit the reset button and began taking Pilates sessions, daily walks, and impromptu dance parties. I remembered the gift of movement and started to celebrate.

Bodye Celebration is my opportunity to share with others how much time we need to take to celebrate our bodies. The ability to move, breathe, think, and feel no matter how big or small is a reason to celebrate!
